I had the rubber Decal Grips on my XD for approximately 20 minutes. Didn't like it at all. Promptly ordered the Hogue Handall and I couldn't be any happier.

Hogue Handall

I have it and it's not working for me. I have Houge finger groove on my SIG's and they feel like they grew in my hand even with hot crazy loads they stick like glue,

Thanks,Keith

Ah, understood. For what it's worth the Decal Grips did maintain a heck of a grip in my hand, I just didn't like their texture and the fact that, while providing three stickers for each side of the grip, they still didn't cover the whole area pretty much. It just kinda felt uneven to me, but I think I am in the minority there. The rubber texture was also too rough for me. I didn't even dare try the sand as I've heard reports that it rubs skin raw when CCing.

However, if the Handall doesn't work for you and you are looking for something that provides a no slip grip in your hand definitely give the Decal Grips a try. If I had stuck mine back on their sheet carefully and kept them in some manner, I would have gladly sent them to you.

Hope you find something that works.

I use rubberized decal grips. When I first got them, had my doubts. Now i think their great.

It hads a little to the grips but not that much. The texture is coarse, after a while dont even notice anymore

I use skate board grip tape and found you can do it two ways. Both are homemade because I am cheap, I need the extra dough for bullitos. You can use crayon to rub onto paper the area you want to grip. Cut the rubbing out and turn the rubbing over so the crayon faces the backing of the grip tape trace, cut and peel. Badda bing bada boom, perfect grip decal for cheap. I have templates for that cover the front and back strap as well as both sides all the way up to the slide. If anyone is willing to tell me how to post a word document on the boards maybe I will be gracious enough to bestow them upon the XD masses.
