the double post is not to "increase" post count it was simply that i had never used your damn site before and did not know how it operated so i posted in two places. so you guys can just chill and expect "newbies" to not understand there first day.

Hey Pistol Gear, you’ll see an ad for them up top if you keep refreshing your browser, is the best place to order mags, holsters and such.

I’ve ordered from them twice and they have great customer service and GOOD prices.

If you want nice leather look at Rays holsters I just got my sable holster for my xd service the fit is tight,but not too tight.Congradulations on your new xd.

+1 on this post! Start by determining what you want to do with the pistol. Need it for home defense (usually a night operation)? Go for night sites. Need it for "looks"? Polish the barrel and maybe get the slide hard chromed. Don't like the recoil? Look at heavier springs and a rod guide. Like it just the way it is? Leave it alone and shoot it 'till you run out of ammo (then go buy more!).

Also if you ever get and XD-45 Service the XD-40 and XD-45 use the same Comp-Tac holsters.
