I wonder if anyone has experience with the TFOs and a C-T.A.C. IWB setup. I'm torn between Trij and TFO at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated.

TFO and CTAC

I am also interested in anyone with experience carrying TFO sights in a CTAC holster. Currently I carry an XD-9sc with Heinie straight eights. I also have a Comp-Tac paddle holster. I plan to put new sights on my service model XD-9 and I am looking at TFO sights. I am trying to decide between the Heinies or TFOs. Thanks in advance for any advice or insight.

I use my Comp-Tac Settable Cant (usually with belt mount) more often than my C-TAC. That said- I don't think either had anything to do with the front pipe falling out of my TFO a few weeks ago during a range session (and right before a 4-day TDI class). I'd never had anything resembling a snag.

On the subject- Truglo definitely seems more oriented to working with dealers than with end-users, as it took me 12-15 calls over a two-week period to reach their consumer service (and only after finding a voicemail backdoor). Since I bought the sights from CTD, Truglo knew I couldn't get dealer support, so the lady I worked with coudn't have been more helpful.

My point: if you get 'em, choose your dealer carefully, as Truglo realllly seems to want them to be the first stop. There's a coupla fine dealers here, as we all know.

I am sorry to here about your experience. I think any of the Sponsors on this board would treat you much better.

If any forum member runs into a similar situation and cannot get dealer support from where they got the sights, I would be more than happy to try to run the warranty service through Tru-Glo for you. Just hang on to your receipt for proof of purchase.
