So who has tried muffs vs. Zems??? Give us a report please.

I use the Silencio that you can get at Wally World for about $20.00, and I have no problems. They fit well, and work great even when firing the .50 S&W.

Shot for 1.5 hours yesterday with various other shooters indoors and almost forgot I was wearing them. Almost splurged for the Zems tonight when I ordered from PG, but without some more + from people, why buy?

Also intrigued by the Zems. Ordered them from Woodcraft.com about 25 seconds ago. Will compare to standard muffs and foam plugs.

Picked up a set of electronic muffs from Outdoor Sportsman. $29 plus S/H. Work great. Use them every time I go to the range (about once a month) and they've held up nicely. Like the fact that I can hear what's going on around me and any instructions or warnings from other shooters without having to pull off the muffs.
