The XD speedloaders are ok but I prefer the HKS speedloaders. They are more comfortable and easier to use in my opinion.

My OEM speedloader was a pain in the ass to use. You had to pull up on the thing after loading a round. It took more time to load that way than by hand. Eventually I decided to Dremel it and loosen it up. Now it works like a champ.

I was having the same issue with the original. I do still have it for my 32 round mags though. I like the lever action on the HKS.

I wish the HKS speedloaders were compatible with the SC mags.

They are with a little trimming. Works like a champ. I believe it's the 940 or 941. If you look closely the redish mark is where it was cut out. With even a little more trimming it will work with the pierce grip extentions too.

I bought one and hardly use it now that the mags aren't so "tight". I can load my XD40 mags as fast by hand as I could with the loader except maybe that last one.

Never use mine.

I tried it once after I got my XD but it was faster to load it by hand.

I have six 16 round mags and have never had any problems loading them to full capacity. The last couple of rounds were a little harder to load the first time when new but not that much.
