Clipdraw w/ Comp Tac or Crossbreed??

I haven't been able to get a straight answer on this and am wondering if I got a clipdraw if I'd be able to use a crossbreed supertuck or comp tac holster w/ it...I figured since I believe both are kydex, it might interfere w/ it...can someone please advise...

Thanks in advance.

I don't know why the clip wouldn't just slide over the kydex like it does your pants.

Hmm...good point, might just work...just don't want it to hinder my draw if need be...

Whoa, full stop.

I have the clipdraw on my xd45acp, i have the holster that came with it and another holster I got from a member here on the forum. The clipdraw does NOT slide over the side of the holster, nor does it slide to easily into the holster.

You can however, dismantle the clip draw, it just requires un screwing 2 screws and the clip comes off while the mounting base stays on. Just don't loose the two screws.

gotta jet now.

Got it, I did already email Crossbreed and hadn't heard back from him regarding this...guess I'll have to take the clip off if I want to use the holster...kind of a bummer...oh well.

Thanks Guys.

Not sure what the deal is but I did indeed respond to your question. (At 1411 hrs central time, to your work email, I have the response in my "sent" box.) (shrug)

Said that I could probably just form a chanell for the clip and it should work fine.

The suggestion about just removing the clip when using a holster may also be worth considering.

Please double check your e-mail, I need to know if I am having probs on my end.

thanks

My apologies Mark. I did not indeed get the email. That sounds great about the chanell for the clip. Thanks so much, you'll have an order into you soon and I'll make sure to reference the clip. What turn time are you on right now for the holster?

No problem, some commercial filters filter me out as my website is hosted at Yahoo! business.

It's a solid 6 weeks right now. I doubt I will gain much ground before Christmas but I hope not to loose any either.
