Question .45 tac holsters

what is the best cost efficient holster for the .45 XD Tac. Im a college student and can't really afford the afford the holsters that are upwards of 100 bucks. I will probably use it for concealed carry. Thank you in advace for your responses.

Well I was looking at something that would be concealable I guess Im not sure whether I should go small of back, IWB, or OWB. Im not a very big guy about 5'10'' 165 lbs and a 32 inch waist.

As far as price goes I would probably go up to 60 ish. But if I could get a comfortable quality one for less I would snatch it up.

For a Tac I would probably go IWB unless you wear a really long cover garment. I find that if I leave my t-shirt out, or wear most buttondowns untucked the length of my Tac leaves just that last little bit of barrel right at the bottom edge of the shirt. Might just be me though. 5'10 190lbs. I wear a Tucker Answer which is out of your stated price range but I think the same principal would apply with any IWB. I walk around in a T and shorts all day with it and have never been made.

okay cool that helps alot. I know alot of people have been talking about the super tuck, but to me it looks like it could end up moving around too much.

Cav, The SuperTuck, QwikClip, and Standard IWB all stay in place EXTREMELY well. There is no moving around. The leather backer really 'anchors" them in pace. It's large surface area gives the holster lots of "grip".

For example, I took my 10yr old bowling today for her B-Day. Bowled for 2 hrs with my Pt145 at 3:30 in a QwikClip, Guess where it was when I walked out of the Bowling Alley?? Yep, right where it was when I walked in. Didn't slip, slide or budge. That may not be as much activity as running a marathon, but it's a whole lot more movement than just walking around. I felt it was a pretty good test of stability.

thanks
