Anybody tried...

Anybody tried converting a paddle holster into an IWB holster?? I was just looking at my Uncle mikes Kydex paddle holster, and it seems to me that if I took the paddle off, and either found some other belt loop sized hook, or made my own that it would work as an IWB holster... Anybody tried this??

Search and you will find IWB holsters made out of cardboard and duct tape. I see what you are saying but I think it would be simpler and easier just to get an IWB kydex that is made for that. There are tons of cheap one that will work just the same.

A few makers Ive seen over the years have tried this and some kept the design and some havent.

Its probably easier to use an IWB and cut belt slots in it...but the holster would have to have enough "meat" for both designs. It would have to be fairly large holster to make it work. If you just cut belt slots in the wrong holster...basically you could make a really nice holster into a really expensive paper weight.

Shoot well and god bless
