Wanna' watch? Watch Tucker make a holster, that is?

How'd you like to watch Tucker make a holster?
I thought you might so I took some pictures a short time ago.
The holster is a pancake for a J-Frame S&W.
Each step will be a separate post at www.tuckergunleatherBLOG.com.
I would love to hear your feedback on the blog. Weeks of work have gone into creating it. There's a lot of great content - posts on holstermaking, leather, shooting technique, shooting resources, etc.
There's a free report called, "You Can't Miss Fast Enough To Win A Gunfight!"
I'd love to hear what you think of that.
In upcoming weeks we'll hear from Mark Garrity on making exotic holsters and from Crimson Trace on shooting with a laser. I want to offer you all a chance to participate as well. It's all just a click away.
If you've never visited a blog, it's simply a series of posts with the most recent at the top with links and content of interest to the person who owns the blog. It's great way to interact those who share your interests.

Thanks for the link!

Rob, I am still trying to wear out one of Tucker's pancake style 1911 holsters. Seven years later and no luck.

I have had it out in all sorts of weather, working on the ranch, hot humid days, wet rainy days, cold windy days and covered with dust and dirt that gets stirred up from hours on the tractor or riding an ATV, covered with sweat and sawdust from clearing brush or repairing fences, hunting and just playing around in beautiful Fayette County and I cannot kill this thing!

No cracks, splits or any damage. Oh sure, theres some stains from bar oil form the chainsaw and scratches from walking through briars and rub spots from where it rides against the seat on the tractor, but this holster is the toughest thing I can find.

I have gone through Galcos, Safarilands and Don Humes holsters, but cannot ruin a Tucker holster. I an count on one hand the times I have done any upkeep on this thing as well. Maybe a little leather balm but only a few times in seven years. Maintenance free? Almost.

Pretty soon, I will be ordering one for my XD-40 and I have no doubt it will last this long, too! I have a cheapie Don Hume for the Xd right now, but its not very comfortable and looks terrible after less than 6 months of use. What do I expect for 25 bucks, right?

Guys, if you want a great holster, try a Tucker. I swear, I cannot find a better fitting more comfortable or durable holster and it looks good, too.
