I had this problem, but...
I re-installed the grip and the slip slides into place perfectly. I don't know what happened the first time I installed it, but just like you said it was really hard to get the clip to click into place.
I can tell you that the stock base looks like a quality high precission molding, but the pierce grip looks pretty cheap. Not that it looks bad, but it doesnt have that same crisp well molded look. my 2 cents Chris Cahill

i sand the lip on the top of the pearce grip down about one sixteenth of an inch or less. this works for me.
if you bang the magazine in - you may be hitting the bottom of the ejector with the top of the magazine. try to slide a piece of folded paper betweeen the magazine and the ejector to see if you have clearance.

I just recieved 3 of these grips last week. Tried them out and love the way they feel but noticed the same problem on my sub. I just figured that after some use it would break in and work itself out. I guess we'll see. Thanks Chris

Now with how to pearce grips are with my gun.. With me having to slam the mag into the gun is that doing anything bad to the gun? Is there something I should be looking out for with doing so.. or should I not do it?

As long as the mag lip isn't hitting the ejector, you're not going to hurt anything.

I just picked up 2 of the pierce grip extenders for my SC 40 and noticed the same problem with BOTH of them.
Im going to take it to the range today for the first time and fire 200 rounds and see if it "works itself out" like the above post says.

Has anyone got a new batch of these yet? I have had my grips since they came out and have had problems ever since. I'm just curious if anyone had any luck with a new batch? Thanks

i just installed these on my 4 sc9 mags, and i don't have any problem with inserting the fully loaded mags int the pistol with a round in the chamber or not. now the full size mags with sleeves are another story, they are VERY tight to insert into the loaded pistol, but i thnk that may just be because the springs are so stiff yet. They're so stiff that i broke my magaine loader when i filled them, need to take tehm to the range and put a few hundred rounds thru each of them.
