Mags Update

okay, I think this subject needs some updating. Who's finding the best prices online or otherwise for XD40 Service 12rnd .40 S&W magazines?

Midway has them for $19.99. $16.99 if you have your C&R licence on file with them.

okay, so let me ask your opinions.

I found the mags locally for 24.00- 25.00 bucks. I was looking at buying two.

So at Midway USA for two plus shipping it would be $43.00
Pistol gear for two plus shipping it would be $45.05

I'm not sure if it's worth the 5.00 savings to order online and wait on shipping. What do you guys think?

Now if I was to purchase some bulk ammo that would definitely make itworth it meh thinks.

I personally am a fan of supporting local shops and the local economy, even if it is a little bit more...that said, Pistol Gear also supports this forum that we all know and love...I picked my mags up from a local shop, it's also easier that way; buy and go hit the range!

I too prefer to support my local merchants. Your $45 to them will mean more than it will to a larger volume online vendor (no offense to our wonderful sponsors).

now if the local shop usually rips you off or treats you poorly, I'd order online in a heartbeat.

I ordered mine Monday morning and they came in the mail on Wednesday. I would personally support the forum sponsors. But hey that is just me.

+1
Too many people just buy at the biggest store they can because prices are cheaper (granted, I buy ammo @ Walmart, but come on, I'm a poor college kid! ) I also love the service I get locally...it's worth the extra $ to me. I've made a good friend already at one of the range's shop and I've only been shooting for 2 months.

I bought 2 from PistolGear, came in FAST and while your add it you can get some bumper pads for the bottom of your new mags.
