Just like the others... If you find yourself here, you find yourself hooked... I'm up to 250-350 per trip (I shoot at the farm down the street, not at a range. So, imagine if you could shoot ANYTIME for as long as you wanted without paying range fee's... The ammo costs get nutz!).

I've got a Bersa .380 I started with.. Now a XD40 Service and looking into a .357 S&W Carry Revolver in the next few weeks...

The pregnant wife is starting to ask questions about the $$$, but I tell her it's still cheaper than going to the movies 2x a week (if you don't count the guns, accessories, time & energy put into these forums). What she doesn't know.... right?

Drop in barrel. Special Order though.
I'm pretty sure that is not a conversion barrel...isn't the conversion barrel for 9mm basically a bull barrel made to fit in the .40 slide?

It's just a replacement barrel.

LOL...
Hell, i have 3 xd's and a sig mosquito. financially, the mosquito is the only thing that makes sense to my wife since i shoot at least 500 to 600 round a week. So if you think your white lie is bad, my wife doesn't know about the 3 XD's yet. She thinks I only have a sig mosquito and i'm shooting 22LR's all weekend long. I'm squeezing in the truth a little at a time.

I think i'd rather be shot in the leg then have to deal with telling her the truth. what a mess. it all happened so fast.

I feel you all. I am so new to guns it's not funny. Within 1 week of purchasing my XD40 svc, I had shot 200 rounds and ended up with a Gun Club membership to Scottsdale gun club. What's even worse is the club is across the street from my work and next door to a walmart. I don't pay range fees and the ammo is getting expensive. I am already looking at the CCW class and permit costs as well as a new subcompact for carry. XD's are nothing but Crack in composite form.

Yep. . .

Hi, my name is Skeetclub and I'm an XDaholic. Took a binge yesterday at the range and blew off 350 rnds. Just like the first time, only more time.

I would hold off on the 9mm conversion thing... I mean it might be a few months, but some time near the beginning of next year you should start to see .22 conversion kits being released for the XD, at which point you could shoot more than 500 rounds for the cost of 50 .40 rounds.

The .22 kit that everyone is talking about from Advantage Arms (I think?) will only be in the 4". As far as I've heard.
