Best Gun Belt? Affordable and Stylish?

I'd like one in black to conceal my XD9 Service in a crossbreed supertuck adjustable holster. What's good? I want to get the purchase right and not come back for another belt later.

I'm sure several of our forum sponsors have fine belts available that would suit your needs.

I personally use a belt from Rafter's gunleather www.raftersgunleather.com/

I have the belt and have owned 3 holsters from them. The quality of their products is outstanding and their prices are reasonable.

I highly recommend them. Buy a belt from them and you won't look back.

Check out the "Beltster" from Bandera Gun Leather. I have two of them and am always wearing one or the other.

I think Fist makes a kydex reinforced gun belt that looks fairly normal but has much better stiffness.

If you don't mind a 1.5" belt I'd recommend the Wilderness Tactical instructor belt or a Liger gun belt. http://www.ligerproducts.com/product...erbelt_150.htm

+1 for Rafter S

I concur with bd; for the money, Rafter S is tough to beat. www.raftersgunleather.com/

I've heard great things about many of the holstermakers, but my only personal experience with a leather gunbelt has been with Rafter S. I've worn it daily (a black sharksking model) for a few years now, and am very satisfied with how it's holding up.

I have a couple of Rafter S belts. They are an excellent belt for the money. I have also heard great things about The Beltman's belts for about the same money. My favorite is my Milt Sparks belt. It has maintained it's rigidity over the others and is pre-cut to the form of a belt that has been broke in. They are somewhat pricey.

Just make sure you get a double layer belt and if your a 36 waist or better get the plastic stiffener.

+1 for The Belt Man's double thick bullhide belts. I've got one in 1.75" and one in 1.5" widths. Very happy with both.

My Beltman is the 1.5 with the stiffener. Holds my XD45 Tac mighty fine.
