I hope it does as I have been waiting 2yrs. for them to come out with something for my SC. I have spoken with the lady that answers the phone numerous times about it and she has always said they wouldn't be coming out with the QD type for the SC. She also said she didn't know if they would come out with anything other than those type that clamp on the front of the trigger guard, but I guess they have.

I will be calling them tomorrow to find out for sure. I just hope the price will be under $100 like it is for the QD ones for the larger guns.

Did you also notice it has a range of 500 yards, which means it is not the superbrite one that does 1000yrds. You know as soon as you buy it, they will come out with the superbrite one and you will want that one too.

As soon as they come out with it, you are going to want a holster that will fit the XDSC with this laser too, won't you?

Bad News for XD owners

Bad News. Per the lady I spoke with, the laser will NOT fit the SC XD because the rail is too short. She stated it has to be at least 1 inch of whatever type rail. When I asked if she ever anticipated the co. coming out with something similar for the SC, she said, "The company is always doing research and coming out with new products....blah, blah, blah." I've been holding my breath for two years for this; I guess I will let it out now.

Also, the button to turn it on is where killerquad said; at the rear of the laser, near the trigger guard. But since I can't buy one, I JUST DON"T CARE.

OS, yes, I would have been looking for an IWB holster next.

Well that is bad news for SC XD owners , but it sounds like they will still work on 4 inch or maybe even 5 inch XD owners because they have a longer than a inch rail mount. I dont know for sure but it still sounds promising.

The XDSC crowd is always getting hosed.

Start making those calls and sending in those e-mails. If there is a demand, they will build they.

The rail on the sc looks to be about an inch...

If the rail too short then maybe a rail mod.?
