Does anyone use the SA supplied holster?

Just wondering if anyone uses the SA holster that came with your gun? if so does it put wear on your pistol?

It's junk.

Tried it once with the wife's 9sc and it left marks although minimal. So it just sits in the case.

It's a POS and stays in the box.

One of the paddle styles came with both my Tactical and Service models. I use it all the time for USPSA competitions. I've used them for 18 months with no problems. When you adjust it to the lowest hole, it is almost the exact same configuration as the Blade-tech DOH holster that I use for L-10 with my 1911.

I would prefer a belt loop style and I know there are better holsters like my DOH out there. However, you can't beat free!

It is pretty crappy. I'm thinkng about trying to retro fit it somehow to make a car holster that will fit in the console between the seats of my car. Since the thing is crap, if I end up destroying it in the process, no loss.

I wish SA gave us more mags with the gun instead of a POS holster and a junk mag holder that doesn even hold the mags in the same direction. Speed loader is not bad though.

I didn't get one with my XD-9, so I bought one. It's an "XD" brand, adjustable paddle holster. I admit I don't carry my XD often, but it does stay in the holster. I don't see any wear on it.

Wouldn't worry much about it if I did.

Oh, for what it's worth, I do carry my Makarov in a Fobus holster. Haven't seen any wear on that either.

I only use the mag holder when I'm shooting in IDPA.......

I don't care for the holster that came with it. And if it was fobus that made it- they should have done a better job. Mabey a paddle holster...
