When you sit down the thunderwear flips up to a horizontal orientation. Its actually quite comfortable. It was 100* here yesterday, so I wore my loosest, baggiest shorts, a mesh football jersey and flip flops out to dinner. Not really a Crossbreed IWB friendly outfit, lol. The smartcarry/thunderwear (I'm not even sure what brand mine is) fits the bill nicely. I really like it.

I read on the previous page that someone said if you were going to do some walking that the thunderwear would tear some balls slap up ! life is hard enough as it is- I don't need a good ball beating on top of that... Besides- thats my wife's job !!!! I just don't think it would fit my needs. But to each his own..... Good luck with it.

I walked a parade a few weeks ago with mine on. In fact I ran a good portion of it as I was handing stuff out and kept falling behind our float. Not a single "ball slap" the entire time.
You'd have to have so really weird anatomy for that to happen...

I have always marveled at what people think of as "concealed". I mean, if their shirt comes up, if they take it off, etc etc... well, it might meet the technical definition of concealed, but any little thing happens and it isn't. Beyond that, they appear as uncomfortable as anything I have ever seen.
I just can't imagine anything being called concealed unless it holds the entire peice below the belt, and I only know of two that do that, both of which I intend to get when I get my concealed carry license. The first one is the thunderwear, which you have already linked to (and which I haven't even tried on), the second is the pager pal, which may now be discontinued (I will have to call the manufacturer about this). While I haven't yet tried the Thunderwear, I have tried a pager pal, and I can honestly say that it would be quite easy for me to even conceal a full sized 1911 with it and be comfortable, walking, running, sitting, etc etc, without any difficulties. Baffles me, however, that it appears as if it is no longer being sold... |
