I recently purchased an XD 9 SC and noticed the following the other day.
When using the regular magazine (10 rounds). If I move the magazine side to side (out of the gun) there is a rattle and it is the bullet showing through the number seven hole that moves back and forth. The bullet will not rattle if the magazine is in the gun, if I remove one bullet (9 bullets left in the magazine) or if I apply light pressure with my finger on a full magazine . The gun shoots fine and is is quite accurate so perfomance wise we are ok. In all my years of experience with pistols I have never noticed this and was wondering if this is 'normal' with the XD line? I do not feel this to be much of a problem if any but I just find it quite curious.

Mine does it. Several others experience it too. Bottom line is, once it's in the gun it doesn't do it.
