great idea for cheap sights
i am going to order these ghost ring sights without the tritium from entreprise...
![]() then i will shoot the gun and use paint/marker to those approximate spots to make sure the gun is on target. i am also purchasing some tritium rods, i will then mark/drill/cut slots for them and with a little super-glue or epoxy...voila any other ideas ^? i was also thinking of using a bit of .040 fiber optic rod in front of the tritium (facing me) with slots over them (for light) and hopefully make a dual purpose sight similar to the trueglo's, i wonder if the tritium and the slits in the sights would be enough light for the fiber optic to glow during day and night? otherwise i'll just use tritium and fluorescent paint. or maybe i could buy a slightly larger fiber optic and a slightly smaller tritium insert and drill into the fiber optic and install the tritium inside? what do you guys think? They look cool, but I think less is better for a pistol. Ghost rings are great for long guns but I wouldn't put them on a carry pistol.

Good luck. I'm still waiting for Leibster to get those Suresights up and running.

Why don't you just get the Truglo TFO's in yellow/green?

I personally feel that Ghost Ring sights are great for defensive pistol situation. As long as they front sight is in the ring, you shoot hit your target if it is with in 7 yards of so.
I do like your mod idea. Looking forward to the finished product. OS

There is nothing at all wrong with either a plain post or a round-top bead sight when used in conjuction with an aperture rear. They work great and I have used them on hunting rilfes for decades. They will also work on pistols, but for quick hits at 0-5 yards I teach a variation of point shooting that eliminates the need for sights altogether. Whatever works for each of you, though.
