For less money, you can buy Williams Firesights that are made for an XD. And perform great.

TRUGLO also makes a set specific for the XD, therefore you should not need to use sights for the SIG.

I have the TFOs ( Thanks Old School ) Anyway I went to the range yesterday with a 9mm with stock sights and the 40cal with TFOs. I now hate the stock sights. So I think you will be very happy with the fiber optic.

Hello to all from the Newb!
Sorry to resurrect here. Newb to the site, sight and SA XD, not shooting and ccw. I just traded in an older P89 plus @$240 tax included for my Bi-Tone XD9SC. I couldn't wait to try the TruGlo/TFO sites in green so I ran out and got them installed at a local shop Sunday. Yes, I have issues with delayed gratification. Not really a bad thing my wife calls it pre-mature satisfaction. lol
So I couldn't send my slide off and wait... They didn't have the XD sites but had the Sigs in stock. I just said go ahead because the dovetails are supposed to be the same. $119 installed! Sig #8 front and rear TG131st1 the sites them selvves are marked TG-H3 and TG-H# St on the rear. They fit perfect no problems that I can see. Using my micrometer the Truglosights measure front and back 8mm or just an RCH shy of 30mm from the bottom of slide to the top of the sight just above the ends. Nimrod that I am I didn't take a before measurement with the stock iron sites but my stock front site mics out at 5mm and my rear is 7mm which gives me about @-2mm diff over stock front vs rear and -1mm lower than stock in the rear so it shouldn't be a groin shot turning into a head shot. Okay off to the ballistics chart to really confuse myself. I can't wait to shoot the gun next weekend to find out how bad a choice I made. Hopefully I won't have to swap them out for the xd ones, but I am sure I can recoup some of the cash from a sig owner down the road some time. I will post the results at the range when I can. My daughter is already asking where her black and red crayons went. I told her the beagle at them... I am tickled with the high visibility in daylight and the dark/low light this is a great combination that TruGlo came up with. Thanks for a great forum and I will post some Pics in the next few days or so. I am looking for a Paddle XD-Gear if anyone wants to sell one cheap to help me out. I just pegged my wifes "ummm how much more is this going to cost this month before you go to the range" meter. Funny thing is she told me I couldn't spend any more until I went to the range and actually got the XD dirty. I am truly blessed with a great wife...
Later gang,
Critch
