Headphones
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a high quality pair of headphones. The first 2 I bought started coming apart after a few hours of shooting, sweating. Thanks for any input.

Headphones of muffs? If you are looking for hearing protection, my suggestion would be ZEMS. Light and affective without the bulk nor the batteries.

I'm not sure if you meant headphones or muff either. I really don't usually like muffs very much, because of their sheer bulk and they put a bit of pressure on my jaw, which I don't like very much. I bought some silencios the other day that were on a string and really didn't like them at all. They go in your ears and they hurt my ear canal. Then I saw some the other day that looked interesting so I bought them. They are the Silencio model SKW-75. They look like headphones, but they have some blue silicon earplugs on them. They were extremely comfortable and offered 25 decibels of protection. They have metal "headphones" that are covered by orange plastic, so they should be durable and last a long time. Silicon earplugs last a long time and can be cleaned off, so that works out well also. These are adjustable adn can be worn over the head, behind the head, or under the chin. Hope that helps, oh and they're cheap, $6.95 or something like that.

I got a set of the fold-up ear muffs that offer 29 dB reduction. They work great. Not too bulky, they were only about $25, and when you're done, fold 'em back up and toss them in the range bag. I've been meaning to order some of the zems to try out. Next time I get that urge to browse around pistolgear with my debit card out, I'll add one to the order.

Sorry I shouldn't have said "headphones". I mean't muffs or Headphone style ear protection. Thanks for the replies.

The ones I use now are 20 dollar radians. They're decent but probably not my last pair of muffs.
