Not to hijack the thread, but the FNP looks like an interesting pistol. You will have to let us all know what you think of your FNP40.

Best way to describe it is to think about a Sig 229R in .40 and go from there. Take down is the same and although the decocker is in a different position, it really reminds me of the 229 or 228 for that matter. Comes with three mags and is close to half the price of a 229. About 400 rounds down range and no problems.

What about the new 16-rd 9mm mags? Where can I get a couple of those?

PS: I found them on pistolgear.com but they're out of stock.

If you mean are they readily available to the general public, the answer appears to be yes.

Do you want to buy up a bunch, and sell em for a profit on E-bay or something? That's your call. They aren't rare enough anymore to demand a premium tho.

But wheras a month ago you could call Springfield, or order them online, they are now popping up in shops, and in good numbers. I called Cabellas here in KC, as well as a shop on each side of the state line, and all had em in. Least was 4, most was a dozen. Prices $26-$29.
