Question Smart-Carry Xd-45 4"

I know there has been some talk about smartcarry here...but I couldnt find anything related to the XD45 4"...anyone carry their 45 this way??? How do you like it...I love the smart carry, but Im worried the 45 will be too uncomfortable due to size/weight? Any opinions? THANKS...by the way...im not a small guy (6'2"...240lbs...big frame)

I have owned about 6 different smart carry holsters. To me, EVERYTHING else is no good. I have had Galco, safari, hume, etc. The 2 full size firearms were a G22 and a 5"1911. I could conceal them both in a pair of boardshorts and a tank top(wife beater tight style). I dont know of ANY of my other holsters that even come close. Not to mention the fact that it is so comfortable, even with the full size, you forget alot of the times its their. Here are some of the positive points i can tell you through my experience with this holster compared to some high quality leather holsters i have as well.

1. Concealability
2. Comfort
3. Easier to draw when you are fully dressed than back, side, underarm styles.
4. Washable
5. Can be made to fit dual firearms
6. Extra magazine pouch that is part of the unit and feels natural with when carrying, unlike having to starp additional mag packs on your belt.
7. Does not move when you adjust your pants or belt
8. EASILY able to stand and go to the bathroom

Every person who has tried my on goes and buys one the ext day or at the next South Florida gun show(that is where the maker displays them, as well as a few other Florida shows).

I have one for my XDSC-9 and really like it for the summertime when I'm lightly dressed. I can't imagine carrying a XD45 that way, but I know people carry 1911's and like it.

Gives whole new meaning to COCKED AND LOCKED.

Yea, forgot to mention i live in MIAMI where it is usually about 90 degrees and 80% humidity all year round. I guess if I lived in an area with a cooler climate and was wearing jackets, sweaters, etc I could use my galco or safari, although I would take the smart carry first Im just really partial to that style and location to carry ever since I tried one on the first time.
I dont own an XD but I cant imagine it being any bigger than the G22, and like I said, I can carry the Glock in boardshorts and a wife beater and still be TOTALLY concealed. They have a good(breahable) cushion also thatdoesnt let the gun hurt ya "cocked and locked" spots

Manroe- Im about 5'11'' and about 175, if it doesnt effect me at my size, you should be a ok
