If you dont have the proper belt, your holster CANNOT work at all and will move.

I second the comptac holster here also. If you look at this one you will see that the hook is next to the holster and not in front or behind it. This is a big issue with comfort since your pants will need to be even bigger to fit that thing in. I had a sidearmor that was like that and pressed the holdter up against me and was really uncomfortable. The CTAC shirt tucker the hook is further back and the holster is only slightly thicker than the width of the firearm. All in all some people might not have a problem byt if you carry like that all the time you might have to invest in a one size larger wardrobe.

![]() The UCH holster has a side panel that rides up along the side of the gun. This does a few things, some which I like, some that I dont. First, your body doesn't touch the gun and it forces a straight and fast draw. Second, its long enough to where it helps distribute any horizontal force from your belt to push on you evenly, so there are no sharp pains. Lastly, the part I don't like about it, so that sometimes when sitting down for long times, like in movie theaters, that little ridge at the top can dig into your back (if you slunch, but I slunch, because I'm lazy). ![]() The holster is not thick at all, maybe 1mm to 1.5, but it is extremely tough and durable. |

All other things aside,
The fitment on my (new) Bladetech UCH is horrible compared to my old Comptac Undercover Pro. The Bladetech simply has too much resistance when holstering. Doesn't seem right because I really have to force it in there, not simply drop it in. It could be a manufacturing flaw, but apparently it was QA'ed. I guess I can give it some time and see what happens. In contrast, the Comptac, right out of the bag, was slick but still gripped the pistol with an authoritative click. Then again, the Comptac's belt loop snapped one cold day 6 months after I bought it, but that's a whole 'nother review. Last edited by realest00; 06-28-2006 at 07:54 PM. |

I think that Bladetech felt horrible in my opinion. So did my Galco, and safari too. Im new and dont know if youve seen these but I think the best concealed holster out is the smart carry http://smartcarry.com/
IMO it is 10x more comfortable than carrying in any other position, conceals better, has more "functions", and is just as easy if not more to draw in any position except maybe laying down. I wish I had my camera to show you a Mark23 completley concealed by boardshorts and a tank top, and I can be like that ALL day, its that comfortable you almost forget its there. |

Ive been carrying a Taurus PT-111 in a Blade Tech IWB Holster with the loops for about 3 years now. It sometimes gets a little uncomfortable as others have said, if you have to sit in one position for long periods of time. But Ive found this to be true with all IWB holsters. I drive for a living and never find it to be uncomfortable while in a vehicle. I have a new XD9 SC ordered and I'm going to get a new Blade Tech Holster for it as well. The key is using a good belt. I just use a thick leather belt from a western store and my weapon never moves. |
