Left Hand JIT for Right Hand Carry?
Guys,
Has anyone here ever thought of using the left-hand JIT holster from Don Hume for right hand strongside carry? From looking at photos, the left hand model should work great if you threaded the belt around the outside of the holster, therefore cinching the gun up close to the body (as the holster/gun would be between the belt and body). Besides maybe needing a little longer belt, does anyone see any pros/cons to this setup? I think having the loops on the outside would give you more security and less "flop" away from the body. http://www.donhume.com/Products/Prod...m?ProductID=53

I own the JIT, and will try your idea tonight. I don't think it is going to work like you think though. The holster is kind of contoured to fit tight to your body.
