For those of you that have had it done.... does it change the internals in anyway, relating to detail stripping the pistol. In other words, I know there are changes made, but can you take apart the pistol the same way, or do the mods effect this?

Althought some parts are modified, there is no change to the gun in the way you take it down. The only difference you will see or feel is a sweet new trigger.

I think the question was more to the internal parts and NOt the way you dissasemble the pistol. I still can't get clear process of what excatly is done to the trigger.

I just got my gun back with a 3lb trigger. Love it!

As to what he does inside let me put it in my words:

He adds a little extra metal to the thingymabob and puts a screw on the other end of the thingymabob. He shaves a little here and polishes a little there. And when he's all done, WOW!

Doesn't affect the take-down / cleaning process at all.

hearing you guys talk about the work Rich has done to your XD's is making me anxious to get mine back. I sent it to him last week and am on pins and needles while waiting to get it back!
