I agree. I am by no means a gun expert, but the $8 I spent on the Hogue slip-on was probably the best $8 I've ever spent in my entire live.

I absolutely love the feel of the Hogue.

Heres the result first time out at the range with my XD40 at 15 and 25 yards 50 rounds. Very happy with the hogue grips and XD combo. Sorry about the link but its the only way I could do it http://photoshow.comcast.net/watch/mG2Kv5xh

according to the getgrip website we have a local shop that carries the hogue grips. think i might go and "tryout" the grip for the XD and for my 1911 Govt. both with the finger grips. should i not pay over $10 for the Xd version?

The going rate is 8 to 9 dollars for the hogue grips ..in this area anyway

went and bought some for my 1911 and XD

**NOTE THE XD HAS NOT BEEN TRIMMED YET (i need a new razor blade so i can make it nice) ****

took a little work to get the xd in just the right place but it feels great and i haven't even fired it yet. same on the 1911. What do you think?

That Colt look's good with the new grip's, SnakeFart! Iv'e been looking at some grip's for my Ultra Compact. What kind are those? I put some Hogue's on my P89 & I really like them. I'm not sure I want anything on the XD45 Tactical but haven't decided or even looked yet.

both are hogue grips the colts are just the plain wrap around while the xd's are the glock versions which require some cutting. i cant wait to go tomorrow and try them out.
