Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack too small for XD-9 SC
Hey guys,
Just wanted to post a word of warning for people considering purchasing the Fatboy Versipack from Mazpedition for concealing and XD subcompact. I ordered one and it just got here. I love the bag but the bottom line is that the zipper on the concealed carry pocket on the Fatboy Versipack model is too small to easily be able to draw and present my XD-9 SC, even with the shorter 10 rd magazine. The really good news is that the folks at Maxpedition have been very helpful and have allowed me to send this one back and pay the difference for an upgrade to the Jumbo Versipack, which should give me a bit more room to draw. I just wanted to post this and hopefully save someone else the trouble of trying the smaller Fatboy model first for an XDSC. It would probably work fine for a bit smaller gun if you had smaller hands than me. I'm about 6'2" with fairly large hands. Thanks!

Yep, the Jumbo is designed for fullsize pistols. I carry my XD45 in mine with a spare mag below it in the same compartment and a 2nd mag in the outside pouch behind the flashlight zippered compartment
