Transporting equipment to the range what are you using?

I just purchased my third handgun and will probably be getting my fourth within a few weeks. So needless to say the backpack I have been using is not going to cut the mustard anymore. So what do you guys use to transport your handguns, ammo, safety equipment and misc. stuff to the range.

Range bag that can hold 4 handguns and ammo.
I have also see a few people pulling along the plastic toll boxes or whatever on wheels but I have no idea where to get one of those.

What do you guys use?

I bought a range bag on Ebay for $10, throw ammo in it, and toss the pistols on top. I have a second bag full of tools, cleaning equipment, and other junk. And a milk carton full of sand bags and rests. I've been looking at the toolbox on wheels at Walmart though.

I bought an Allen range bag with two sleeves for handguns and plenty of pockets. The sleeves are soft-lined, and velcro shut. I use them at the range to lay my gun on so I don't have to lay it on the wood surface in the lane. I have a few of those plastic ammo cases that hold 100 rounds each, that usually go in the bottom of the bag. The next thing is my cleaining kit, and the guns go on top. I keep a few ziploc bags in there to put old brass in until I can put it up at home. And I keep a few boresnakes and some hoppes in there as well. Plus the earplugs and earmuffs. It can be a tight fit sometimes, but that just means that things can't flop around in there and get messed up.

Tool bags are great. They are heavy duty and have lots of pockets and are more available than "range bags".

I use a Stanley rolling tool box. I got it at either Home Depot or Walmart, can't remember for sure which. I looks like a cooler with wheels and a retractable handle that pulls out from both sides of one end, like a big "U". The wheels are about 6 inch diameter. It has a lockable, lift-off top with a lift out tray under and then a lot of storage below. It's also strong enough to sit on if I want to shoot handguns off a bag at the bench. I routinely carry several bricks of .22 ammo, a couple of hundred .40cal, 2 pairs of muff type hearing protectors, a bunch of targets and 2 handguns in hard cases in the bottom. The top tray carries a couple of pairs of shooting glasses, tool kit, more ammo and 15 magazines. There are also two small storage areas in the top lid with clear covers and enough room for some more misc. tools & cleaning supplies.

Room for a whole bunch of stuff!!!

stopped into wallymart walmart and pickup the stanley roller toolbox. It is perfect. two upper clear compartments hoding 5 1911 mags and 3 XD mags on the other side. 200 rounds of 40 and 200 rounds of 45 and 200 rounds of 22 in the bottom of the tool box. Three handgun bags fit in the bottom of the roller. Have the glasses and earmuffs in the tool box and the cleaning supplies with mics tools and stuff. Thank you guys

check out the 3 bags at the top of this page: i have the MPB (Multipurpose bag)

A bit pricey... you can find some pretty good deals on ebay. These bags are damn near nuke proof and pretty smartlooking, too. it's solid enough it can double as a bench rest for plinking w/ my .22.
