Advantages of kydex:
1. It isn't affected by climatic or environmental conditions. 2. It won’t loose its shape over time. 3. It can't imbed dirt and grit that can accelerate wear. 4. It’s easy to clean. 5. It is molded to exact tolerances. 6. It doesn't have stitching that can deteriorate and break.

I am of the belief, that Kydex has a lot of technical advantages over leather. But, I'm a "Big guy" and I'm in Florida, so for me (IMHO), leather has a better "feel" to my body.

2. It won’t lose its shape over time. Neither will a quality leather holster. 3. It can't imbed dirt and grit that can accelerate wear. Easy to prevent with minor maintenance. 4. It’s easy to clean. Ditto for good leather. 5. It is molded to exact tolerances. Same for a high quality leather holster. 6. It doesn't have stitching that can deteriorate and break. Synthetic stitching used in quality holsters doesn't deteriorate. You're still welcome to prefer kydex.
