I know its not the same but I have the Texas Heritage (thanks ROB) and I love it. Had it since Christmas and the thing has held incredibly. Order a Tucker and you will not be let down.

Personally, I use an Answer and have practiced someone trying to snatch it from me to check it's security. To get it from a concealed position is very, very difficult unless someone is directly behind me close enough to hug me. From that position though I think a snatcher could just as easily pop a thumb break as well. I am very comfortable with all aspects of this holster and, while not inexpensive, I definitely feel it is worth the extra bucks.

I owe Tucker, and those who have championed his holster regarding my doubts an apology.
I decided to order a Crossbreed Supertuck to experiment upon the merits of a hybrid holster despite the lack of a retention strap. I now understand the retention properties of this type of holster much better, having experimented with this one. I will be placing an order for The Answer when I can scrape the money together and switch off between the two, especially in the summer time when it is hot. Thanks for the positive posts, guys.

If the guy who built them told me he didn't feel it would meet my requirements, I'd believe him.

Not that it necessarily matters to anyone, but I did place an order for a Tucker Answer holster for my new baby, a Sig 229R DAK. I am looking forward to seeing how it compares to my Crossbreed Supertuck that I use for my XD's.

Okay, I was asked to do a comparison of The Answer to the Crossbreed Supertuck (I have the non adjustable) by Rob. The Crossbreed was made for the XD's and The Answer was made for my Sig229R DAK
Construction: The Answer is constructed of heavier leather and kydex than the Crossbreed. Fit and finish on it was excellent and the stitching close and tight. The Answer uses hex bolts to secure the kydex to the leather. The Crossbreed uses rivets to secure the kydex to the holster. The leather and kydex are thinner but more than adequate to do what they are intended to do. My opinion: both holsters are up to the task but if you are the kind of person who just has to have a good, overbuilt holster, get The Answer. Cost: The Crossbreed is about half the price of the Answer. For those on a strict budget or who can't fathom the idea of spending $125 on a holster, the Crossbreed is the obvious choice. I don't regret paying the asked prices for either holster. Both are well worth the money paid. Break-in time: The Answer is built of thicker leather and thicker kydex. Predictably it took longer to break in. It felt comfortable after two weeks. Function: Both holsters hold the firearm in place with no play inside. The adjustable tension on The Answer is a nice feature, but I didn't need it. It felt properly adjusted right from the start and when I varied the tension I decided that it was fine the way it was shipped. I didn't order an adjustable Supertuck, and the non adjustable one fit me perfectly. The Answer is fully adjustable, and I found that I needed that feature because it wasn't comfortable in a straight draw (how I normally carry) and I had to cant it slightly forward to fit it to my body. The biggest functional difference (for me) between the two is the construction of the leather backer. The Answer backer is cut so that you can obtain a full "combat grip" before drawing the weapon from the holster. The Crossbreed holster backing covers part of the grip of the weapon, so I place my thumb over the rear sight when drawing the XD and moving my thumb into place once the weapon clears the holster. For those who truly feel it matters, The Answer gives you a more positive grip earlier in the draw. The Crossbreed takes a very minimal adjustment (IMO) and is barely slower to draw from. Comfort: Once theses holsters are broken in, they are comfortable. One thing I did notice is that The Answer took longer to adjust to. I believe part of this is the heavy duty construction and break-in time and part of it is the way the leather backer is cut allows the slide of the gun to push against my ribcage more. (I'm 5'9" and 165 lbs). End result. Both are good. If you have to have the sports car of IWB's or are willing to pay for a primo holster, I highly recommend The Answer. If you want a budget minded holster that has similar capabilities, get the Crossbreed.
