Looking for my first Holster
OK I need help, about to buy my fisrt holster OWB style. Looking at many different brands, all close in style. I've looked at Mitch Rosen, High Noon
FIST, DeSantis, Milt Sparks and Del Fatti. All seem to be great holsters of quality leather and workmanship. High Noon and DeSantis have the slide guard is that something that I really need? I want one that will ride hide with a forward cant. I believe I'm leaning towards the Del Fatti LP on there web site it is pictured with a XD- SC and that is what I will be using. Any help any of you folks can give will be helpful. I will try a OWB first then will look a IWB next. |

I recently tried my XD in a Blackhawk CQC SERPA holster. Those are NICE. They hold the weapon securely, yet it's a breeze to draw. I am dropping some strong hints for my wife about it for Father's Day.

I called Del Fatti to order my new holster the LP model for my SC 9mm. I was told that there would be a ONE YEAR wait. So for now I will go with a FIST #8 that one will take about 3 weeks. It looked to be good quality try it for awhile but I will still go ahead and order the Del Fatti for next year.

XD Holsters
Fist makes excellent quality holsters that are fitted to your specific gun. I have 2 currently and will soon buy my 3rd.
