another sight Q

Yes I searched.

When my 40 tac gets back from SA, I was thinking about sights. To start, let me list it uses. I don't plan on ever carrying, thats what the sub 9 is for. I suppose I could carry it occasionally in an OWB if I needed to feel like dirty harry or something. It is virtually a range gun only as I have an 870 under the bed and a 357 on the nightstand.

My problem is that the range I frequent most often is indoors. I've blacked out the rear and used neon paint for the front on both of my xd's. I actually like this set-up, but was looking for something just a little brighter. I really just want to change my front and keep a black rear(that sounds weird). It's a very simple sight picture. Just need something brighter.

I was looking at a .100 dawson FO front. I realize that FO doesn't really work well indoors though. My range does have lights above each stall, so it could work. Pistolgear lists a $10 upgrade for a tritium dawson. I guess when I shoot outside, this would just appear to be a white sight. Does anyone have this particular one? Also, its the regular width, not .100.

Long story short: I want to change the front only to something bright and versatile for indoors and out, but mostly in. Does truglo sell TFO's for front only?

There's something comforting about looking over in the middle of the night, after your eyes have adjusted. There on the night stand, you see three green dots in a triangle pattern. Either the mouse sized Sam Fisher or my 40 tac with TFO's is there when I need it.

I'm having the Dawson FO's installed fore and aft on my XD-45. It takes very little ambient light for these to show up well.

Consider Pistol Gear's TruGlo TFO (tritium fiber optic) set with the yellow rear and green front fibers.

I have considered TFO's. But I actually like the blacked out rear sight. Kinda silly to spend $100 to only put on the front.
