i just picked up my new xd 40 today and im very excited!!

Ive been shopping around for tac lights for it and the two i like are the X2 and the M6. I was just wondering what you guys thought??

I think reading stuff online about the two can only do so much, what are your
views, thoughts, comment on the two lights/lasers?? Do any of you have either of them??

Streamlight TLR-1....best bang out their for your buck...

is lumens an important thing to keep in mind?? I know you want a high number but how much is enough??

IMHO The Surefire X200B is the best handgun light by far.

ive got the glock GTL21 on my xd 45 tactical... it is the laser/light combo looks and works pretty good to.. matches the kinda flat black palstic on the gun great....kinda expensive..$250 and im sure you can buy other comparable light combos for that price.

I have an M6 and love it. VERY accurate and bright enough to blind.

I've been thinking about a Tac light for my XD40 as well, I like the TLR 1, but is it quick detach or is it a semi permanent light? I like the looks of this light for affordability..

But if I had my choice, the x200 seems to be the way to go.. But who really has the money for that? (damn richies!)
