I was in my local hardware store shopping for locks, and I happened to notice a small model paint shelf. Lo and behold, there was a Testors Ultra Bright Fluorescent paint set for $6.99. Needless to say, this thread made me buy it.

Here's the result. Green in the back, orange in the front. Next month, who knows?

[EDIT] This won't keep me out of the USPSA Production division, will it?

The picture is a little grainy and was taken in low light, but you can see the contrast. I chose a bright yellow for the front sight and flourescent red (bright orange in the sunlight) for the rear. The contrasting colors allow me to pick up the front post faster.

I used a small pick to scrape out the white, and a paintbrush with a tiny tip to apply the new paint. It takes a very small amount of paint to fill the hole. I filled the hole until it was level with the top, and allowed to dry overnight. When the paint drys, it will shrink a little, but there was no cracking.

Good luck.

It is origin sights? Of course without colours points.

Yes. Those are the original, factory sights that have been repainted.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.
If you are asking about the original trigger pull weight....it is listed as 5.5 - 7.7 pounds.
