HOW???
Lately on this site i have been seeing alot of folks haveing the XD sybol or the serial number enlayed with white crayola crayon or what ever else they have used! Well i was wondering if some folks on here could tell me how to do this or just give me some tips on how to do it successfully. Thanx in advance i will really appreciate all of the feedback!
Blake.

Well, to start off with, Crayola brand crayons work best. You can heat up the slide or the crayon to apply. You want to rub the crayon back and forth over the letters in all directions. once you have the crayon in there then you polish off the excess on the slide with a soft cloth.
It's not hard to do, if you use Crayola brand crayons. Non Crayola will work, but the wax always seems to me to be harder to work into the letters, even heated up. Once on the gun and looking the way I want it, I then will apply a coat of Blue Wonder Armadillo wax to the gun, this will seal in the wax and give it a little bit of protection. The wax can be removed by heating it up and using a toothpick, or with some heavy rapid fire action. I have used the color white in the past, but have been considering using red. eh Hope this answers the ? for you. |
