Have been using these plugs to secure the "hole" in the base of the grips of my Glocks....NOW, I notice my XD 45 also has an ugly, looks like damaged/unfinished hole as well....anyone know if anyone makes or will be making a grip plug for the XD's?

That JB Weld putty is an option. The hole has no purpose.

For now, the only plug for the XD, which will not fit the XD45ACP, is by Magloc.

I like to think that hole does have a purpose. Should dirt get in through the slide area it will have a way back out through the bottom.

Which XD has the an opening on both ends? The XD45ACP? I just rechecked my XDs. My Tactical 9 and 40 are open only on the bottom. I filled the holes with oil, to see if it had any where to go. It did not go anywhere.

If you get dirt in the slide, it will move likely eject out with a case, fill the firing pin hole, or drop through the bottom with the magazine.

I just keep a condom in mine, incase I have to go swimming in a hurry.
It is not one of mine, training condoms dont work. I had to buy a 3 pack of big boy rubbers. Anybody need the other two, they dont fit me.
