Gun escaping the IWB holster
DH has a Glock 17 which he carries in an Uncle Mike's Sidekick IWB (no retention strap). He says it frequently crawls up in the holster, as if trying to escape. Is this a fit issue or something else? So far my Sidekick is working fine for me.

the uncle mike's is nice and slim, but the formed holsters, leather or kydex, have excellent retention. in the short term, get a needle and soem heavy thread and sew on a retention strap with velcro that can be released quickly, and still retain the weapon. best wishes finding the solution that is right for you

But if that's true, I'd also have to say my jeans are trying to kick the XD out (IN the holster) to make room for...something. Maybe me? Maybe I just need larger jeans. |
