Any gunsmith cut down service grips to SC length?

Probably an old topic but does any gunsmith or shop cut down fullsize grips to accept SC mags? Would like to do it to my 2nd XD to make the grip easier to conceal.

Thanks.

Be bold. Do it yourself. Someone on here did it. I'm thinking about it myself, but I just got my XD a couple of weeks ago and can't put it "under the knife" yet

Hey, Sssnake, I just did it. Not too difficult, either...someone asked me to post directions, and they're at http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=35282 if you want them. It's really a good idea (I think)...I don't know why more people aren't doing it.
