I've got an I-Shot Pro shooters bag. Plenty of room for mags, glasses, ammo, bullets, and targets (as long as they aren't bigger than the base); plus there are 3 padded pistol pouches.

I've got an Allen canvas bag that I got at Galyan's, before it was bought out by Dicks. It is mainly used to carry ammo and cleaning supplies, but it came with two gun holders that are fleece lined and velcro shut. I don't use them half the time though. I just put my gun in the bag in its holster. The main reason I got it was because I was looking for a bag, and my last name is Allen. When I saw this one, it fit the bill, and I liked that it has my name on it.

I bought a nylon range bag at a local gun show for $12
It's not bad and it'll hold 10 boxes of ammo and my two XDs (in gun rugs) in the main compartment, plus it has zippered pockets on each end and one in the front. With all my magazines and crap it's getting pretty full though. I'll probably buy the XDGear bag ($50) from XD-HS2000.com next, or whenever he gets them back in stock, because I'm goofy like that. |

I bought a hardside case (Doskosport) at Sports Authority for $10....the same thing at the local gun store is $40. I ended up using it to store ammo, but it can easily hold several guns and enough ammo for a trip to the range.
I just take a small canvas day pack to the range with me. It has enough room to carry as many guns as I'll want to carry (usually 3 or 4). I keep my "ears and eyes" in one compartment, ammo in another and the guns in their gun rugs or holsters in the main section. I also have a small Bagmaster zippered case I originally bought to keep my XD in. I keep the Bagmaster in the day pack to hold assorted loose stuff like any tools I may need like jewelers screwdriver set for sight adjustment, a little box filled with allen wrenches so they stay together, a small bottle of CLP, , my 1911 bushing wrench, a small pocket knife in case I need it to dislodge stuck shell casings, etc. I like the day pack because it can get heavy and has shoulder straps to make it easier to carry. Plenty of room for other assorted junk like "Shoot N See" targets, a bunch of AOL installation disks to shoot at (good free targets), etc. Peace, D.
