5.11 Operator belt - XDTalk Forums

Anyone use this for IWB carry? How does it hold up? My supertuck takes a 1.75 width and my current carry belt is 2 inch in width its basically a police duty belt. I think the 2 inch is too thick stiff and think that is I went to a 1.75 inch it would be much better. Would the operator belt be stiff enough to hold up the gun and keep it close to me while holding my pants up?

Yes it should do everything you want it to. The operator belt has an insert in it that is built for holster support. 5.11 did a good job designing the belt itself for its intended purpose and it holds rock solid even with 10 or more pounds of gear pulling on it.

You will not be disappointed with that belt at all. That thing is tough and makes any holster feel a lot more solid.

They looked and felt great when I looked at them. However I bought a Wilderness 5 stitch. Dont know why, just found more reviews on it than the 5.11. I also looked at and almost bought a SpecOps brand riggers belt, but they didnt have the right size.

that belt should work...I use the crossbreed belt and it works well too.

Thanks for the info guys I think I will give it a try. I really would like the crossbreed belt but I can't spend that kind of money on a belt right now with money being tight at the moment.

I know you already are set on the belt but I just wanted to also mention that I love my Operator belt and wear it every day and it holds my full size 1911 and spare mag with no problem IWB.
