Arrow Has anyone had any work done by Robar

I recently read an article about a Khar .45 Robar customized( Robar Premium Finishing & Firearms Home Page ) so I started looking at what services they provide. I'm must say i'm very interested in having them customize one if not both of my pistols. But i'm doing some research first and trying get any feed back on there services, quality of work and craftsmanship. I appreciate any input you can share about this company and its product. I'm also interested in any other companies that offer similiar services.

I had Robar customize my XD45C and it is like a brand new firearm. I had the Norton Special done along with a Competition Trigger job and the trigger guard rounded off.I love the Satin grey finish of the NP3 and the trigger job is great. Clean up after a range trip is easy, you just wipe it down with a soft cloth.I have another forum member( Shaner), who is going to post some pictures for me,some pics are not that great but you will see some that are pretty good as well.Robar customer service is excellent at least that was my experience with them and they have an excellent reputation in the firearm industry. When Robar finished my XD45C and I took it to the range all I can say is that they made a great firearm even better I couldn't be happier. If all you want is trigger work then there are other options available to you.

I chose Robar to refinish my STI 2011 Tactical in NP3. Can't wait to get it back... My friend, Tom, has had some work on his pistols done there, and he couldn't say enough good about them.

Had them do NP3 on my Sig P239. Came out looking good, but it scratched the slide the first time it came out of the holster. Button snap caught on the slide I guess. I thought it would be more durable.

Cleanup is a snap with the teflon imbeded finish, just wipe it off or throw it in the machine, comes out new. $360 door to door just for NP3, kinda pricey
