Just got my CrossBreed
I've never CCed before but decided to once I got my XD9-sc. (Yes, I have my CWP) Picked up the crossbreed at the recommendation of a bunch of posters here and I have to say my first impressions are great. I was afraid it would be very uncomfortable but it's not at all.
Anyways.. some concerns I have I tried holstering at several locations between 2:00 and 4:30 and you could still see the back of the slide printing on my (loose) t-shirt. I haven't tried adjusting the cant at all so hopefully that will help, suggestions are welcome. One thing I've noticed for anyone considering CCW is that if you're like me and buy pants that are essentially fitted (so you don't have to wear a belt to keep them up all day) you may need to go up a size. Also, my current belt is "OK" but I can definitely see the need for a real gun belt. I may go with CrossBreed for that also since the service was so great.. but I'm going to shop around a little also. Cheers, G33k |

A loose T-shirt is going to work for concealment for some folks but not for others. It really depends on your body type. I find a t-shirt is a little too thin when I conceal strong-side IWB with anything bigger than an LCP. Polo shirts work better though.
I typically adjust cant pretty far forward on my SuperTuck, as I find it aids in concealment. I also like to carry at 4-4:30 with it, and the extra cant just seems to work really nice from that position. I'm 6' 190lbs.

don't sweat it
First off your arm will help hide it and people have no clue. They will just think it is your Iphone.

It's funny how paranoid you get about printing when you are trying to find what works for you. It's best to be as concealed and discreet as possible, but most people who aren't LEO or carry themselves are completely oblivious to what seems obvious to us. I'm not suggesting to let it hang out, but it's usually not as bad as you think either. I've been really happy with my super tuck as well, it's a fantastic iwb holster.

This is so true. The average non-gun person just doesn't expect anyone to be carrying, and would most likely mistake a "bulge" for a cell phone or PDA. |
