Thumb Rest - XD9?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Recoil-Control-T...QQcmdZViewItem

Anyone try one of these? how do you like it?

My hands are about small-medium size, and I it doesn't feel natural to wrap my thumb around the beaver tail on the XD. It seems a bit high for my thumb. Would this help?

you'll see a few listers on here making fun of the thumb rest, that's okay, they're entitled to their opinion, even if they've never owned one/tried one. i have on on my xd40, only because i noticed a marked change in accuracy when i switched from a 9 to a 40, so i thought i'd try this out at, what were they, $15 or so? i probably wouldn't put on on my 9mm because i've not had control problems with the 9, but everyone's different.

I feel they are more for the "old" 1911 shooters who have no place for their thumb, when they are not shooting 1911s. This gives them a comfy place the rest, like the safety on the 1911.
