The New Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove for XD

Has anyone tried this new grip from pachmayr? Is there a cutout for the grip safety or is it made low enough to clear it? Pachmayr's site indicates that they are for full size frame xd's but has anyone tried one on a compact? thanks guys

I havn't, but am looking for some now! Found one on ebay, but their website doesn't even have them listed? I've been looking for a good grip for my XD, and this may be the one! Thanks for the heads up!

Yes please do - I'd love to see some pictures, and what you think of it!

I have a 4 on my XD SC 40 and it fits perfect without cutting it for the grip safety.

I believe you are referring to a different product (Pachmayr's #4 slip on grip) than the one in question. I am looking for feedback on Pachmayr's NEW tactical grip gloves that just came out for XD and XDm's. Thanks again

I just received an email stating mine is on the way. While it cost more than a Hogue or bike tube I will not have to modify it

Pachmayr Tactical Grip for XD

The grips finally came in! My XD is at springer precisions right now so I'm substituting it with my xd-40 tactical blue gun . I sand the grip safety off a bit cause it gets in the way when I grip it. Pardon for the poor picture quality, it is taken on my cellphone.

It is quite a nice rubber sleeve, doesn't really get in the way of the grip safety. It takes some force to move it up and feels highly unlikely to block the safety unless it is done deliberately. Fits my hand perfectly.

Thanks for the pics! I wonder if it would work on my XD .45 Compact - I really like this grip!
