Should that unhappy circumstance occur, my lawyer will argue (presenting evidence, and if I can afford it, expert testimony) that a crisper, more predictable trigger is a boon to accuracy, and thus to public safety. It gives me better control of my weapon.

Just out of curiousity, can you cite an instance of that occuring?

The only thing I could find with google was sidewalk lawyers repeating that claim over and over again, but not one actual jury trial outcome.
