Georgians Illegally Armed with German Assault Rifles, Says TV Report
Georgian elite forces fighting Russia in the breakaway region of South Ossetia were illegally armed with German assault rifles in a blatant violation of Germany's arms export laws, according to a TV report. The report by German public broadcaster ARD, which was to be aired late on Sunday, claims that Georgian elite forces in the rebel province of South Ossetia were supplied with German weapons... Well... Looks to me like Georgia is just all kinds of F'd up.
I mean attacking S.Ossetia for NO reason at all, other than being given the "OK" from the US&A, and trying to squeeze their way into NATO, and all that happy mess, these Georgian dudes are just plain WRONG. Now illegal arms deals... Go figure, a country(Georgia) would start a small war with their own military(reports of US troops among Georgian casualties) and their own weapons(as described above, German assualt rifles), for nothing more than a small slice of the world super powers(USA,RUSSIA,IRAN)... FAIL I don't blame Russia for acting the way they have. If someone wouldve done the same to us here in the states(2001) we wouldve been 1st to deploy troops and tanks(OEF2002-present/OIF2003-present) and have a massive display of force..!! Seriously, anyone who thinks this war is just Russia trying to bring back the Soviet Empire and world domination, needs to O P E N their eyes... This is about Georgia and NATO, The US&A's wanting of missile defenses(in case Iran has something nuclear to say) in Poland along the Russian border...
