Hot button topic for my.... The logic they use is anyone who buys more than 1 hangun a month is clearly a straw buyer and trafficing guns. If that is really the case then why not do a little police work and arrest them? Because its so friggen hard to get a hundgun purchaser permit this never happens and they are useing it as the first step to remove guns from our hands.

scary - i almost moved to jersey. i love how a gun owner cannot make extra stops of detours if he has a gun in the car. guys...your tax $ pays for this stupidity.

what i always think with leftist gun-grabbers is "don't they realise every successful leftist revolution from Lenin to Castro to the Sandinistas was fought with the very weapons they seek to ban?". what will they do if their rightist foes succeed in taking over the country by some coup or simply by electoral success? are they gonna start "abstaining-only" and "not askin' and not tellin'"? or are they gonna grow some backbone, take up arms and assert themselves? cuz that's what's been required of every oppressed minority in history, and their plight (or that of their hard-right counterparts if the leftists end up being the ones who lock us down, which *both* so-called "sides" wanna do) won't be any different if their political opposite gains the unchallengeable entrenchment they seek.

i also remind them of the words of their anti-christ, Ronald Reagan - that most notorious gun-grabber and hater oif dissent - when he was governor of Kalifornistan, saying, regarding suppressing the student protests happening at the time, "if it takes a bloodbath, so be it!" .. and if that bloodbath came, were they just gonna let themselves get mown down by Reagan's purpose-created hit squad without at least dying with the honour that comes from taking a few of their adversaries down with 'em? would the socialists at least have had the gumption to make their fascist enemies' victory cost some blood? apparently not.. which to me means they deserve every ounce of (real or perceived) oppression they get.

i gotta say, if this place ever does become a rightist dictatorship which suppresses all leftist dissent, i'm gonna laugh my ass off at their pathetic, pacifist asses as they get hauled off to the camps with nothing to "protect" them but their precious leftist "moral compass", which will by then be pointing in only one direction, namely, to the gallows that await them inside the fence..

they need to pick up a history book now and then..
