Exactly. Its senseless. I still can't figure out what went wrong in this state. Fell off the deep end a few years back. I think too many like minded NY'ers decided to make this a liberal paridise

NYers left NY because of taxes and restrictions, moved to NJ and voted for the same taxes and restrictions that they had in NY....

I moved out to Nevada from New York and we have Californians moving here to "escape" the communism there just to vote for crap that would make this state be more like the one they just left...i don't understand.

Yep!.

i'm surprised they ever give out those permits in NJ.. in NY State handgun permits are just as much of a sham as CCW permits in Kalifornia: they're required to accept the application but it's pretty much a foregone conclusion you won't get it. i read about someone in NY State who applied for the handgun permit and was told, "i know the 2A guarantees the right to bear arms, but that's just not how we do things here", and proceeded to get asked CRAZY questions like "so, you're a paramedic, do you intend to use this gun for assisted suicides?" (as though a paramedic so inclined wouldn't have more civilised tools right in the rolling medicine cabinet he drives around), and "i see you own a rifle, you planning to attack the local military base?" .. just REAL condescending stuff, it was utterly putrid..

I was under then impression your application to buy had to list what you were applying to buy on the paperwork.

Those same New York bastards are infiltrating the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Nope.. I applied for 2 permits and they are generic... You just take them to the gun store and pick what you want
