Atlanta's 'Guns at Airports OK' Law Goes Federal: US Congress Asked to Act

The chairman of the U.S. House's Homeland Security Committee wants the federal government to keep Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport a gun-free zone. Rep. This guy should be paying attention to his own state. I believe carrying guns at the airport is legal in Mississippi as well. A--hole.

Shirley Franklin has said she's going to be lobbying for a gun ban in all facilities that receive Federal funding, just to make sure Hartsfield stats pure. She's overreaching her boundaries a little bit here too.

Happy to be a Suburbanite!

...maybe she missed DCvHeller?

at any rate, she can get it all but banned, as long as its not a ban.

Me too, but can't carry past the Security line, so why worry about flying with one?

I'd like to be able to carry until I have to check my gun, rather than having to pull it out and unload it when I get out of my truck or off the train.
