Mayor Asks Chicago Businesses to Raise $1million for City Gun Buyback

Mayor Daley wants to raise $1 million to buy back guns and remove them from Chicago streets, but the latest in a string of corporate fund-raisers got off to a slow start. Sources said former Board of Education President Michael Scott was asked to co-sign a wave of fund-raising letters and make fund-raising phone calls after the initial response was lukewarm from a business community that's... They would be better off pumping millions into a pre-emptive sterilization program. Start with the women that are breeding these scumbags, and remove their innards.

yeah, we could walk up and down the line and offer a little more than what the program is, bet you could find a few steals, but mostly junk. what always gets me is don't they think people will steal guns just to sell to the morons???

Perhaps guns for drugs would work better in Chicago.

I hope that, in 20 years or so, after putting 100,000 rounds through my XD, there's a gun buyback in Detroit. I'd LOVE to get a couple hundo for some sad, depressed and overused handgun I have laying around...and use it to buy something new
